We give self-indentifying teenage girls and non-binary youth the wisdom to rise n’ conquer.

Through adventure-based learning, honest, straight up conversation, and some seriously hip beats we help every youth uncover their own wild and set themselves free—from expectation, from self-doubt, from other people’s judgment, from self-harm.

Our camps are free.

Our adventure apparel is not.

Revenue from Girl in the Wild merch enables us to offer a life-changing experience in the wild for struggling teenagers—for free. Like it should be.

Our founder, Kim, wasn’t always wild.

Practically the opposite really. She spent the first 23 years of her life feeling pretty shitty about herself. So she hid. Under baggy clothes and an extra 20 pounds, behind books and closed doors.

She was 23 when she decided to be brave. She walked tall out of a severely toxic relationship and straight into the mountains—the Tombstone Mountains in the Yukon, as a matter of fact. She did it because she wanted to. Because it felt right. Because it was the only thing that made sense.

A strong adventurer was born that day. Or maybe she was just set free.

I decided to stop longing for the wild and just be wild.
